Day 1 – Flight to Bayan-Ulgii Province

  • Morning domestic flight from Ulaanbaatar to Bayan-Ulgii (approx. 2 hours).

  • Meet your driver and local Kazakh guide at Ulgii airport.

  • Visit the Bayan-Ulgii Museum – learn about Kazakh culture, history, and wildlife.

  • Explore the local bazaar (open market) for handicrafts and souvenirs.

  • Evening welcome dinner featuring traditional Kazakh cuisine.

White River Valley (Tsagaan Gol)

Day 2 – Drive to White River Valley (Tsagaan Gol)

  • Morning departure from Ulgii town, driving through rugged mountain passes and river valleys toward White River Valley (approx. 5–6 hrs).

  • Stop for picnic lunch along the way, enjoying views of snow-capped Altai Mountains.

  • Arrive in White River Valley, known for its snow-capped Altai peaks and Kazakh herder families.

  • Visit a local nomadic family to learn about their daily lifestyle and traditions.

Day 3 – Trek or Hors ride to Altai Tavan Bogd base camp

  • Start the journey toward Tavan Bogd Base Camp (approx. 16 km / 4–5 hrs).

  • Walk or ride through broad glacier valleys surrounded by sheer rocky ridges.

  • Explore the glacial moraine and surrounding ice formations.

  • Arrive at Base Camp with spectacular views of Potanin Glacier.

  • Enjoy free time to rest, explore, or photograph the landscape.

Day 4 – Climb to Malchin Peak (4051m/13290 ft above sea level )

  • No special climbing equipment needed, suitable for trekkers with moderate fitness.

  • Enjoy panoramic views of surrounding peaks, glaciers, and alpine valleys.

  • Descend back to Base Camp in the afternoon.

Day 5 – Drive from Altai National Park to Ulgii

  • Morning departure toward Ulgii town, driving through scenic mountain passes, river valleys, and open steppe (approx. 4–5 hours).

  • Arrive in Ulgii in the early afternoon.

Day 6 – Fly  to Ulaanbaatar

  • Transfer to Ulgii airport for flight back to Ulaanbaatar (approx. 2 hrs).

  • Meet at airport and transfer to hotel.

  • Optional dinner show with Mongolian throat singing & dance.
