Mongolia Nomads Spring Migration– 7 Days / 6 Nights
Experience the spring migration of Kazakh nomads in the high Altai Mountains of western Mongolia. Visit one of the most remote regions of the country and witness how families move from harsh winter camps to fresh spring pastures.
Seasonal migration, animal herding, and camp relocation are central to nomadic life. Watch as families dismantle their winter gers, pack belongings onto camels and yaks, and travel across valleys and mountain passes in search of greener grazing land.
Stay with a local nomad family in a traditional ger and become part of their daily routine. Share home-cooked meals, stories, and cultural traditions. Help herd livestock, set up camps, collect fuel, and prepare food alongside your hosts.
You may also meet Kazakh eagle hunters during migration and learn about their ancient hunting heritage while enjoying the warm hospitality they are known for.
This tour is a rare opportunity to witness breathtaking Altai landscapes, experience authentic nomadic culture, and follow the real spring movement of Kazakh herder families in Mongolia.
